Scottish Branch Sponsored Walk 2010

This year our charity fund raisers have decided to partake in a little of the Irish, in particular the Kerry Way, in the Republic of Ireland.
Although not as arduous as the West Highland Way (mountains climbed), it more than makes up for it in distance. The guide books describe this as a walk of some 200km’s (135 miles) plus and can be covered between 7 and 10 days. Our 4 explorers have decided to do it in 6 days, making it more of a challenge than anything attempted previously. (since demob).
