Trooper Joshua Hammond Killed in Afghanistan

It is with deep sadness that the Ministry of Defence can confirm that Lieutenant Colonel Rupert Thorneloe MBE, Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, and Trooper Joshua Hammond, of 2nd Royal Tank Regiment were killed yesterday, Wednesday 1 July 2009, in Afghanistan.
