On 27 October 1960, Her Majesty The Queen presented Standards and Guidons at Buckingham Palace to the following regiments:
1 RTR - Retained.
2 RTR - Retained.
3 RTR - Laid up in St Peter-upon-Cornhill on 13th September 1992.
4 RTR - Laid up in St Peter-upon-Cornhill on 12th September 1993.
5 RTR - Laid up in St Peter-upon-Cornhill on 16th November 1969.
North Somerset Yeomanry/44 RTR - Laid up and subsequently retained by the National Army Museum in 1969.
Westminster Dragoons - Laid up in Westminster Abbey 23rd October 1966.
40/41 RTR - Laid up in Bootle Town Hall on 16th August 1975.
All the Standards were moved from St Peter-upon-Cornhill to St Mary Aldemary in 2008.
Her Majesty The Queen presented new Standards to 1, 2 ,3 and 4 RTR at Sennelager on July 15 1985 and again to 1 and 2 RTR at Buckingham Palace on 25 June 2008. All the old Standards are now laid up in St Mary Aldermary the Regimental Church.
The two regular Regiments retain their Standards, which are usually held in the Officers' Mess or in Regimental Headquarters.
